QM Talks@CBPF: Andreas Ketterer — 04.08, 16hPosted: July 30, 2014
Rio is receiving a lot of quantum-info guests these last weeks of July and beginning of August. At the moment we have Andreas Ketterer and Pérola Milman from University Paris Diderot. Next week there will be Gerardo Adesso, Rosario Lo Franco, Lucas Céleri, Olivier Brodier and Stefan Boettcher, plus the locals, of course.
We take this chance to see what people have been working on. Andreas was kind enough to accept to give a talk here on his recent work. See details below and stay tuned for the next talks.
Speaker: Andreas Ketterer (University Paris Diderot)

Title: Devising a general framework to test CHSH inequalities
Abstract:The Clauser-Horne-Shimony and Holt inequality applies when measurements with binary out- comes are performed on physical systems under the assumption of local realism. Testing such inequalities in the quantum realm involves either measurements of two–valued quantum observables or pre-defining…
