Quantum heat machines: Thermodynamic nature of quantum resources

Quantum heat machine models are an alternative approach to a wide range of problems: from fundamental questions as the validity of the thermodynamic limits at quantum scales to practical applications related to cooling and to the minimum possible achievable temperature in several systems. During this talk, I will review some examples of quantum heat machines in order to answer the above questions and reveal the thermodynamic aspects of different quantum resources.
