Title: Non-Markovian open quantum system dynamics

Abstract:

Open quantum system dynamics is here described from a total state point of view. I will present some new developments in the quantum trajectory formulation of non-Markovian open system dynamics that allow to tackle structured environments and strong coupling scenarios. Applications are shown for energy transfer dynamics in molecular aggregates. I will also address more fundamental issues regarding the build-up of correlations between an open quantum system and its environment.
